Construction is committed to working safely.
Safe work environments
can only exist when safety is the first priority. Safe
work practices protect our employees, our customers'
employees, customers' assets, the community, and the
environment.
Our project supervisors and employees are entrusted with
the primary responsibility for safety on our projects
and are backed by a staff of certified safety and
training professionals. This has allowed Higdon
Construction to earn the reputation of being a reliable
resource which can be utilized to consistently complete
projects safely.
Higdon Construction maintains an extensive, behavior
based safety program, exclusively developed for our
company, known as S.T.A.R.T (Safe Today And Return
Tomorrow). Our program has been audited and approved by
auditing firms like NCMS and ISNetworld and is compliant
with DOT and OSHA regulations.
Higdon Construction also stays compliant with Operator
Qualification requirements for DOT regulated industries
and coordinates our Operator Qualifications through
assessments and performance evaluations under the
National Center for Construction Education and Research
(NCCER) and Operator Qualifications Solutions Group (OQSG).
